I'm advising candidates to not list a congressional seat since it's a superfluous idea by Natan that failed to pass congress or even succeed in a open vote on the regional page. That being said.

And if no candidate is to list a seat, what shall the Department of "arbitrary exercise of power" and elections do? My point Natan is this. We have too few people for this system to make sense. My guess is one person will run in each seat. This change of the voting system is therefore an arbitrary expression of power which I find dangerous in a operating democracy. Especially since this idea FAILED to pass congress, that represents the people, or even succeed in a referendum of only 4 votes. What will one of the many departments under the founder's control arbitrarily do next? Decide each seat will be voted for during different time zones and only during those time zones? The point is not that you will but that you could. I again call on my fellow candidates to protest this arbitrary change by NOT listing a seat.

It's not an arbitrary exercise of power. The department is simply deciding how elections will be orchestrated. And I do think there will be some competitiveness. I've only started using this method to make it more democratic. In what way would this change benefit me? I'm doing this to aid democracy, not hurt it.

There was no reason nor does it make a big difference. It is therefore arbitrary. Maybe it shouldn't have that kind of power especially when it contradicts the will of the people. If I'm proven wrong so be it. And you have not explained how it would do so. I never claimed it would. Show how since by doing so you're contradicting congress.

It does make a difference; we are more democratic with it. Besides, the old system was pretty much born out of laziness. 2. Well congress refuses to act, and the constitution is silent on it. 3. Fine, can we at least try it out? 4. Each candidate will run for one of three seats against an opponent. get 50% of the vote, and you win. All three seats will be elected at-large.
